Dear Friends and Colleagues,
You will be pleased to know I completed the Lincoln 10k in less than 1 hour (58:39) on Sunday. As you know, I didn’t train at all. I did however buy some new running shoes, so I did make some effort.
Anyway, I am paying the price majorly now – my legs are like jelly!!!
Funniest bit, at the end of the race, an announcement came over the tannoy:
“would runners please not climb over the barriers as a short cut”
Climb!!! I could hardly move!
